13. Travel over the top of Rich Mountain, the state’s second highest peak and visit two states on the Talimena Scenic Drive from Mena, Arkansas to Talihina, Oklahoma. This breathtaking vista over Rich Mountain offers stunning views, frequent turnouts to see the panorama, and a trip past the state operated Queen Wilhelmina Lodge. The Pioneer Cemetery serves as the final resting place for early settlers on the mountain, including the last man who lived on Rich Mountain.

Carl Lewis, of the United States, ranks sixth with ten sub twenty second performances. His first, 19.75, came on June 19, 1983, in Indianapolis, Indiana. With this performance, Lewis won the TAC National championship and claimed the American record. In 1984, he ran less than twenty seconds three times, one of which established an Olympic record in Los Angeles, California. Failing to break the twenty second barrier in 1985 and 1986, Lewis accomplished it once in 1987, and three times in 1988, with his best time year, 19.79, to win a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea. In 1993, he ran 19.99 twice, once to win a bronze medal at the World Championships in Bester Escortservice, Germany.

I was glad to see that the room was very clean and everything worked. All rooms at the Edelweiss have balconies. Our balcony offered a lovely view of the Alps with a table and chairs. An ashtray is also provided, since smoking is prohibited in the lodge. Both beds were very comfortable, though I was glad I brought my own pillow. I prefer down pillows and the ones at the Edelweiss are stuffed with polyester fill.

While the offense changed its look, so did the defense. Usually, Iowa Defensive Coordinator Norm Parker does not sway too far away from the base 4-3 sets defensively, but the team used more 3-4 looks than ever before against Ulm when the Warhawks were in obvious passing downs. Parker also sent James Morris on a blitz on two straight plays in the first half.

I avoid dark beers because I do not enjoy the bitter taste. Our neighbor drinks Schmidt beer. He drinks it because it comes in a ‘thirty pack’ and it seems to be cheaper than other beers. It is not a dark beer. Just a strong beer, another words, you do not have to drink more than one to feel a ‘buzz’ starting.

The U.S. Under-20 Open National Team – competing in the ultimate FrisbeeWorld Junior Ultimate Championships in Begleitagentur Heilbronn, Germany – has won all of its games since group play began on Tuesday, Aug. 3.

11. In Fayetteville, stop by the University of Arkansas campus. Former President Bill Clinton once taught law at this respected old university. Snap a picture of Old Main, one of the original buildings from when the college began in 1875 and stroll the campus for a feel of collegiate life.

With 5 – 6 on tap (including my all-time favorite, Franziskaner Weiss Beir) and another 15+ bottles of fine German brew. you’re bound to find something to your liking. Tap beers are available in a variety of sizes, including half-liters, full liters, pitchers. and if you ask really, really nicely they might even bring out the 2-liter Das Boot. While they do have a massive 5-liter mug it’s reserved for very special VIP types. OK, I broke it the last time I was in there and they’re waiting for another one to be shipped from Germany. I’ll be paying off that tab for a very long time.
